Quantity Surveying

Our fully qualified Quantity Surveyors appreciate the importance of understanding, planning and managing the cost of a project and offer stand-alone QS and Employer’s Agent services, in addition to working within an integrated project team.

Our objective is to bring an innovative approach to quantity surveying / cost management and instill a cost discipline within the design team.

This integrated process demands best value for clients and leads to final design solutions that meet cost targets. We take an active role as controllers of cost at every stage of the project to ensure that financial effect is considered in parallel with design intent. We plan and control costs, not retrospectively report costs.

Working with clients, Haldons endeavours to identify a balance between value for money, cost and quality.

Our Quantity Surveying role includes the following core services:

We procure projects using a variety of Contract forms through partnering, alliances, negotiation, design and build, two-stage competitive tendering and two-stage tendering, where we always comply with updated forms of Contract, including JCT and NEC.

Haldons knows that effective cost control is vital to pursue best value for every client. We provide an innovate approach to construction economics, using a specialist skill set to meet cost targets, from initial feasibility through procurement to final account. We will safeguard you through the various aspects of any project by ensuring that contract and cost controls are deployed.
